Billets acrylic resin are produced on a small scale by adding colored pigments. They are slowly polymerized and heat treated, resulting in a noble, shiny material and very resistant to scratches and scratches

Conventional machining

Due to the handmade nature of our pens, several pieces are produced by machining on conventional lathe. Tools are used with carbide inserts and in some operations diamond tips.

CNC machining (numerical or computerized control)

Certain parts can only be obtained if processed in CNC systems, especially the cap threads, with large thread pitch and multiple entries (usually four). The threads for fixing the Nibs are made in this way, in this case very small and non-standard pitch. In addition to threads, the engraving of texts, numbers and images are also done on our CNC milling machine.

Model making on 3D printers

From the 3D design or modeling, we obtain models and prototypes through additive manufacturing in special resins that allow the direct casting of the parts or even the production of molds for the lost wax process.

Lost Wax Silver Casting

A technique widely used in jewelry is the casting of gold and silver from wax models. The models are mounted on a kind of tree, inserted into a rubber base and then wrapped in plaster. The set is placed in a high temperature oven, the wax melts and drains from the plaster forming a hollow mold. The molten metal, gold or silver, is then poured into the plaster mold and the metal part is obtained.
